Arlington Pet of the Week: Klaus

This week’s Arlington Pet of the Week is Klaus, a Three-year-old Maine Coon combine who enjoys leaping in the bath and receiving a pleasing grooming.

Here is what his proprietor, Sarah, needed to say:

This is Klaus, a fluffy Three-year previous Maine Coon combine followed from Bourbon County Rescue in Germantown, MD. He is known as in honor of his proprietor’s study-abroad host oldsters, Kitty and Klaus, and pricks up his ears every time he hears German. Typical of Maine Coons, Klaus loves water, continuously leaping into the bathe or batting his paws round in his water dish. Klaus enjoys a just right snuggle, so if he discovers closed door is obstructing him from his human, he’ll sing the track of his other people till she open the door for him. In his copious quantities of loose time, Klaus likes to chirp and yowl at birds and squirrels from his favourite perch on the windowsill.

A purrfect day for Klaus comprises munching on quite a bit of meals and sunning himself outdoor on the balcony. He’s just a little of a cowardly lion, although… one flutter of the American flag and he’ll scamper all 18 lbs. of himself underneath the patio furnishings sooner than you’ll be able to say ‘scared-y cat’. He’s simply coaxed from hiding, alternatively, with one have a look at his brush and can lumber over to obtain a pleasing grooming, all over which he’ll flop over and purr loudly. After his model of a spa day is entire, he’ll to find the nearest blanket, kneed it for 5 mins, stretch out on most sensible of it, and promptly go to sleep. Such is the existence of Klaus!
