Photographer flags doggy doo to send message to pet owners – BC News

Frustrated with the collection of luggage of canine poop left round Metro Vancouver, A.P. Hovasse made up our minds to flag the problem – actually.

“They’ve gone halfway, but I wish someone would explain to me in easy language what they’re doing (when they leave the bag behind),” says the character photographer. “What they are doing is polluting greater than if the canine craps within the grass.

“I wouldn’t ever blame the dogs,” he says, noting that if it were not for the human bagging the canine poop it might dry up naturally, as a substitute of sitting bagged for months.

In an effort to carry consideration to the problem, he made little flags that learn: “REALLY? WTF DOGWALKERS! Don’t be a jerk, take your sh*t to the garbage can located nearby.”

Hovasse discovered 3 luggage dropped, absolutely loaded at Boundary Bay. He says they have been all inside of about 50 metres of a rubbish can.

“They were within sight of the garbage bin for dog poo,” he says, noting that a large number of parks are smartly arrange with canine poop assets, and provides that many canine walkers do use the device in position.

After posting pictures of his indicators on social media, reaction has been combined.

“I’ve got a lot of response, not all of it supportive,” he says. “I believe it is an effective way to get folks speaking.

“Something needs to be done to bring this up in the consciousness of dog walkers,” he says.
